It began with a failed batch
The first hundred bottles were boiled, the way most commercial oils are made. They smelled right. They did almost nothing. That failure sent us back to the classical method: cold infusion, twenty-one days, no shortcuts.
The people behind it
Herbs come from growers we visit in Satara and Sangli districts. The neem combs are cut by a family workshop that has been turning wood for three generations. The soaps are cured in a room in Pune where the only equipment that matters is a thermometer and a calendar.
Where we are going
Slowly. We would rather add one product a year that we are sure of than a catalogue of things we are not.
